Renee's BIO
Renee E. Moreno (Lynch) – Vocalist, got her start singing professionally in
1992 with the local country/rock group, “Dude Ranch and the Hens,” which
maintained a full performance schedule throughout San Diego and Orange
County until the end of 1998. . Renee’s involvement with DRH exposed
her as the opening act for such National talents as The Charlie Daniels
Band, Oak Ridge Boys, Sweethearts of the Rodeo, Hal Ketchum and Toby Keith.
In 1995 & 1996 Renee was nominated in the category of Best Female Vocalist
at the People’s Choice Awards and San Diego Music Awards. DRH was
awarded “Best Original Country Band” in 1996 at the San Diego Music Awards
in which Renee was a contributing writer and performer with such songs as “Ol
Southwest,” and “Daddy was Right.”
In 2001 Renee put her vocal and promotional talents successfully to the test
to help launch the San Diego country-rock group, “Ranch Rockers.”
At the start of 2004, Renee had once again embraced a new challenge,
performing as the lead vocalist for the Rock/Top 40 group, “Shady Grey.”
After a long four year break to marry, get her kids off to college and
realign her priorities, Renee is back again with a new and improved “Shady
Grey” to prove she’s still got it; and does she ever!
